I watched the 80th Annual Academy Awards last night, the whole 4 freaking hours of it! I always watch award shows, but the Oscars are probably one of my favorites. I like how they recognize all of the people it takes to make a movie, not just the actors, producers, directors, ect… I also like watching people cry when they win an award, I can only imagine how it must be to have that feeling of accomplishment. I’ve never even seen a lot of the movies that were nominated except for Enchanted. The musical performances were enjoyable, I heard the song “Falling Slowly” from the movie Once for the first time and it’s such a beautiful song, after I watched the show I ran to the computer and downloaded it, and made it my Myspace profile song. :grin:
One reason I also watch the Oscars is the fashion, of course. So here is my best and worsed dressed picks:

When I was younger I loved going to Claires and looking at all the cute jewelry. One thing I always loved looking at was best friend necklaces; you know the two necklaces of a heart split in half and you give one to your best friend? I was always excited to give the other necklace to my friend and see the smile it put on her face. Recently, I had the thought - “ A best friend necklace set would be a good gift for my sister” (after all, sissy is my best friend) but it seems like they’re hard to come by now, but after a little searching on google I found a few cute ones…
Juicy Couture has the most elegant pair of necklaces that I found, and they’re probably the most suitable ones for giving as a gift. I love the crowns on the front, and the Crystal charms. The thing I don’t like about the necklaces is that their Gold - I hate Gold…but overall they’re still pretty. Fortunately, I found a sterling silver pair at Nordstrom. I like that set a lot better, but they’re a little bit pricey at $195… for that price your friend better be a good one! And… they better kiss your ass!
I love the set from Fred Flare, they’re cute but tacky at the same time. I can see myself wearing it with a teeshirt and maybe these sunglasses… that would be a helluva good day! Haha I love the stuff on that website, I could have a shopping field day with it!
“We go together like milk and cookies” Aww!! I love this set from Violet Gumdrop and what’s not better than supporting an independent artist? I would definitely rock the cookie one! Milk and cookies sound good right about now.

I had been eating leftover spaghetti for 3 days, so today I felt inspired to make a decent lunch…
I marinated chicken over night in olive oil, lemon juice, and pepper. I then used my George Foreman Grill to cook it, (everyone should own one, they’re great!)
For the sides I cooked frozen mixed veggies, and for a sweet treat - sugar free jello that I made last night. Mmm… The picture doesn’t make it look very appealing but it tasted delicious! I figured I’d eat a halfway decent lunch because tonight the boyfriend and I are going to his friends to watch Ulimate Fighter and I’m sure they’re going to feed me junk food.
I posted more photos of my Emerald Witch doll on my Flickr account. I want to name her but I can’t think of anything. I want it to be something goofy. Any ideas??
