My bebe summer catalog arrived in the mail the other day, so I figured I’d write about the fashions just like I did for the bebe spring collection. While flipping through the pages of the catalog, I notice a lot of the same trends that seem to be popping up everywhere this season… Such as ruffled blouses, animal prints, gladiator sandals, and “bohemian” designs. Another thing I notice about this season is that designers are using bold colors like oranges and fuchsias which is seen on some of the bebe fashions. (Frappelattes also wrote about summer fashion trends.) Like always, browsing through the catalog is such torture because I like almost all of the pieces. If only bebe wasn’t racist against women with large boobies… My breasts won’t even fit in their tops! Oh well, I can still purchase their accessories and bottoms so it’s all good.

Today, the lover and I wasted three hours of our lives driving to Tampa to listen to some stupid sales pitch about available travel “For less.” They promised us one of numerous available gifts, including the possibility of a Lincoln Navigator or $39,000 cash, $2,500 cash, vacation to the Bahamas, or a 36″ flat screen television. We thought the television would be the consolation prize, but we ended up getting the vacation…go figure! You’re probably thinking “greedy hooker, what’s wrong with a free vacation?” Well, nothing really, except after everything is said and done it’s not really free. We’d both have to pay $150 dollars to go, which isn’t too bad but you can go on a cruise for around $400 dollars anyway. It just wasn’t worth listening to the obnoxious guy talk for an hour, and having the a-hole salesman question our relationship because James works a lot of hours. He even admitted he was being a smart ass! I think he was just acting like that because James and I are young…
Thankfully, the day wasn’t a total waste, because afterwards we went to the mall! James bought me some stuff from Wet Seal. Heck yes, I got me some new clothes and shoes. What I got:
And…here I am trying it on:

So, uh… I guess the hand on the hip and the other arm down is my signature pose. Haha. At first I didn’t even notice I was doing it in every picture!
I don’t know how I feel about the leggings or the pink pumps, they’re so 80’s! I do love the heels though, I think I’d rather wear them with some skinny jeans instead. As for the leggings, I’ll probably just browse Polyvore for some ideas on what to wear them with. I love that website, it’s so useful to me; whether I’m just looking for outfit ideas, too lazy to use Paint Shop Pro, or wanna save an outfit for future reference, I highly recommend Polyvore.
Looking at the pictures I think I need to start doing something about my bod! I mean, I’ve never been thin, my boobs make me look bigger, and I look good enough to work where I work, but I dread hitting the age when everything starts to sag! (I’m typing this while I eat the sundae James made me.) Damn James! I think he wants me to get fat! I really don’t eat a lot, I just eat the wrong things. I would like to start swimming because it’s great exercise and I think it’s fun. It’s definitely warm enough for it now (it’s been in the 80’s) but I just hate going to the pool alone. There is never anyone to go with me!
I’m done rambling for now.

I’m extremely bored; the internets get boring after awhile, I look too scrubby to take photos, and my cable keeps freezing. So… I’m going to do the beauty survey that both Tashina and J posted on their websites recently. Here it goes…
My Foundation:
Before applying foundation I use a moisturizer to even out my skin. My choice moisturizer is
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. It’s perfect for combination skin types which I am, and it goes on smooth and doesn’t feel greasy. At around $20 dollars a pop some people may think it’s a splurge but it’s well worth it, I’ve had mine for over a year and it’s not even half empty, and I use it almost every day! For foundation I’ve been using Physicians Formula Mineral Wear, and I’m quite happy with it. It provides full coverage and last all day, but I don’t want to say too much about it because I plan on writing a post on it soon… I also use Cover Girl concealer under my eyes.
My Mascara:
Like a lot of other cosmetics, I have yet to find my “perfect” mascara. For now I’ve been using Get Bent Mascara by Benefit. It works pretty well with making my lashes longer but sometimes it tends to clump up. I think L’Oreal makes great mascaras…
My Blush:
I’ve been using Neutrogena healthy skin blends sheer highlighting blush and I love it, it blends together so well! But, before I apply the blush I use Bonne Bell Powder Bronze to give my cheeks a warm glow. I apply both with a Donna Loren bronzing brush I found in a set at TJ. Maxx.
My Eye Shadow:
How can someone use just one brand of eyeshadow? There’s so many different shades! I mostly use Hard Candy’s Kaleidoscope Eye Palette, I love the brown shades it has. My new love is MAC Pigment it stays in place so well, and last all night. I work at a club so my eye shadow needs to stay fresh and flawless. I really wanna try Too Faced Galaxy Glam Eye Shadow!
