A lovely day.
The boyfriend had the day off today which doesn’t happen very often. He has been promising me that we could go to the Historic Bok Sanctuary, it’s a place with gardens, and a famous singing tower, I had found it on the internet while searching for Florida attractions. I was very excited when he said that we could go today, not that he makes all the decisions but of course I didn’t want to drive almost two hours away and go there by myself.
I enjoyed the Sanctuary, it wasn’t AMAZING or anything but it was quite beautiful and only ten dollars a person. I took a lot of pictures which was my intention in the first place. I think James and I were the youngest people there because seriously everyone else was ancient, not that I don’t dig old people or anything…I actually think some old people are the shit! I think there was three grandpas that complemented James on his purse… Well actually, they were kinda laughing at him. Damn straight I made him carry my purse I had to take the pictures!
The Tower… Edward Bok’s grave is actually in front of the golden doors.
My favorite flower picture of the day.
I wub you loser, we are special. James…that’s some nifty hair you got there.

It was good to finally get out of the house, due to being sick I haven’t really gotten out of the house for the past week. I hate being stuck in the apartment, it gets boring and I’m not a huge television fan. Also…I can only be on the computer for so long before it feels like my eyes are going to get sucked out of their sockets.
My Emerald Witch arrived in the mail today! “HALLELUJAH!” She’s in pretty good shape for a 36 year old doll. Once I get her cleaned up and de-frizz her hair I will be taking pictures, I also need to get more outfits for her. One thing I’m a little ticked about is the eBay seller I bought her from forgot to mention her body has been glued together! I think that’s a pretty big thing to forget. Stupid eBay! It’s okay though, with clothes on her you can’t even tell, and I feel privileged to own a formerly abused vintage doll. I can’t wait to expand my doll collection, I will be needing a cabinet!
xoxo, Crystal

Awww looks like you two had fun. It’s good to get out of the house and do things like that even if only ancient people were around lol.
The seller conveniently forgot to mention the glue huh? Ugh, I hate dishonest sellers!

Whoa! I want to go, lol. It’s beautiful.
Sorry your doll wasn’t in as good condition as they advertised. I have to say, it looks a little scary from the link, lol. But, it does have that vintage look.
