I work in radio and its kinda like that too... every month when send in our calendar with days we can/want to work. And we can switch shifts with each other if something comes up. But I LOVE my job, and if I sit still too long I get antsy and BORED. But my job's fun - it's not even a "job" to me, it's hanging out a concerts for a living. It stormed here too, WHILE I was shopping. The weather went from 95 to 66 in 5 minutes. I was expecting it to turn severe but it never really did. My fave place for books is Half Price Books... not sure if you have one where you are?
