Looking over the search terms in my website stats, I’ve noticed a lot of people are wondering if Hard Candy Cosmetics are going out of business. I too asked the same question a month ago when I saw that all their merchandise was greatly discounted. Instead of being lazy and googling for the answer all day long, I decided to email the cosmetic company. I received an email back from one of their worker persons (forgot the name, and have already deleted the email) stating that they’re in fact not going out of business.
The brand is now being exclusively sold on the hardcandy.com website only. They had to pull all their merchandise out of the stores leaving them with massive overstock. Therefore, they discounted all products to clear out inventory.
So there’s your answer buttercups.
Heck yes they better not ever go out of business, I love their products too much. If you also love Hard Candy be smart and head on over to their website and get the goodies while they’re 75% off! Dang! Why do I have to be broke right now?
Oh, and screw you Yahoo answers.

Fringe has been seen on a lot of fashions lately—from shoes to clothes to jewelry—the trend is everywhere this summer/fall season. I personally have mixed feelings on the boho fringe look. While I’ll probably never be brave enough to rock the look on my feet, I’d definitely rock it over my shoulder with a fringe bag!

Tasha Fringe Hobo.
I think a fringe handbag would complement a casual outfit. For an example, take a look at this outfit I put together on Polyvore. Although, the bag could probably be paired with anything really, it just takes creative thinking.
I’m so ready to throw out my big and bulky handbag for a fringe one. They provide function, form and style, which are the important things I look for in a bag!
What do you think of the fringe trend?

The maxi dress is certainly no new trend, celebrities love the long flowing dresses and it’s a favorite among stars such as Nicole Richie, Vanessa Hudgens, and many more. It’s also a favorite among pregnant women, probably for it’s slimming ability.
Even though the dress has been quite popular for awhile, it didn’t quite catch my eye until this season. I think with the help of all the pretty and funky prints, bright colors, bold accessories and shoes the maxi dress is looking better than ever. Yet, I still find myself maxi-less, but I will find the perfect one.
You have to be very choosy when picking out the perfect maxi dress. The shape and cut is very important, try a dress that fits your body the right way, or you’ll look like you’re wearing a garbage bag.
Women with large breast should try a halter dress with thick straps to offer support. And, if you think your figure isn’t right for the dress, like, you think you’re too big – think again. Try a solid-colored dress rather than a print that will make you appear larger than you are.
One thing I really love about the maxi dress is it can be dressed up by adding accessories. Wear it at the beach during the day, then a hot date by night. Again, it also really depends on the dress and the shoes you wear with it – gladiator sandals, wedges, flip flops, and even the right heels can look good with a maxi dress. If you’re petite like me I think the heels would be a good idea. Read the rest of this entry »
