While browsing a Women’s World magazine, I found this fun Do-it-yourself project and thought it would be a great idea to share it. I have yet to try it out myself, but it looks easy and makes a great “I’m bored” activity…
Modern ribbon charm bracelets are a new trend that you may have seen celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Naomi Watts sportin’ on their wrists. Yet while their designers versions cost hundreds (the bracelet pictured left retails for $110 at Saks Fifth Avenue), you can make your own with just a few dollars and a little time. With gardening being a hobby of mine, I’m loving all these adorable Do-it-yourself growing kits that seem to be popping up everywhere. They’re extremely cute, plus easy to use and maintain…as if gardening wasn’t fun enough. (For me at least.) These little kits would look nice on any patio or window sill. Check them out!

I should really be in bed right now, instead, I’m here talking to myself… Bare with me on this entry, I’m tired…
I gave myself a little home manicure today, well technically yesterday since it’s almost 3am. Anyway, I’m usually pretty lazy when it comes to my nails. I mean, I keep them decent looking, but I never take care of my cuticles and I paint them only if I absolutely have to…I hate waiting for the paint to dry, and I also have shaky hands. I would get them done professionally, but I think it’s a waste of money, and I hate fake nails because they have messed up my natural nails in the past. I also know a girl who has fungus from her acrylic nails! Besides, my natural nails are strong, and grow easy. So, I took some time tonight, and did my nails the right way. I soaked my fingers in soapy water, scrubbed with sugar and olive oil, pushed back my cuticles, applied cuticle oil, and used lotion. And the result…
