Hard Candy Cosmetics has been one of my favorite makeup brands since they first debuted in 1995 with their Vintage nail polish. The brand is mostly geared towards teenagers, but my kooky and girly self just can’t get enough of their pretty shades and fun packaging.

Today, while checking my email inbox I received a message from the brand stating that all the products on their website are 50% off. At first I thought to myself “is this message fake?” It was in my junk folder, so to be positive I pointed my browser toward hardcandy.com and sure enough their having a summer sale with EVERYTHING 50% off. I’m so happy, I already purchased three things and only spent $20 dollars with shipping. If I could spend more money I would probably buy the whole damn website! Since I was a teen I wanted to try one of those virtual makeover websites/software/whatever. Earlier, bored and scrubbin’ it in my pajamas and flipping through the pages of a Women’s World magazine, I noticed text that read Get a free “virtual” makeover! The virtual makeover website is called taaz.com, and it is fun, fun, fun. I don’t know if it’s a new thing or many people know about it but I highly recommend it. It’s very easy to use; basically you take a head on snapshot of yourself then choose from hundreds of hair styles, cosmetics, and eye colors! One thing I really like about the site is all the shades of cosmetics are based on real products. So, if you like a certain color of eyeshadow you’ll know what brand and shade to pick up at the store!

I had been playing on the site up until now for a couple hours. Unfortunately it runs kinda slow on my ghetto arse computer. Anyway, I created three different looks, and now I shall show them off!
