It was such a nice day out yesterday, it is today as well. So nice I feel like drivin’ in my car with the windows down listening to U2′s “It’s a Beautiful Day.” The temperature is in the 70′s and it’s supposed to go up to 82 today, if the water wasn’t so cold I’d be going swimming! Due to the
weather I had to get out of the house yesterday, so I took the dog to a local park. The park has a fenced in area for dogs to run around in, I figured it would be good to take Krissy there since she’s a hyper active dog and is always stuck in the apartment. She stayed by my side the whole time; she’s afraid of other dogs. I thought it was funny because a little Chihuahua came up to her and she jumped away from it, and she’s four times bigger then a Chihuahua. Krissy is such a puss. Since the dog park didn’t work out I took her for a walk around the rest of the park. It was the first time I’ve ever seen the rest of the place and I thought it was actually really nice.
The boyfriend had the day off today which doesn’t happen very often. He has been promising me that we could go to the Historic Bok Sanctuary, it’s a place with gardens, and a famous singing tower, I had found it on the internet while searching for Florida attractions. I was very excited when he said that we could go today, not that he makes all the decisions but of course I didn’t want to drive almost two hours away and go there by myself.
I enjoyed the Sanctuary, it wasn’t AMAZING or anything but it was quite beautiful and only ten dollars a person. I took a lot of pictures which was my intention in the first place. I think James and I were the youngest people there because seriously everyone else was ancient, not that I don’t dig old people or anything…I actually think some old people are the shit! I think there was three grandpas that complemented James on his purse… Well actually, they were kinda laughing at him. Damn straight I made him carry my purse I had to take the pictures!
The Tower… Edward Bok’s grave is actually in front of the golden doors.
It’s been so beautiful here in Florida, I think the temperature was in the 70′s today and it was bright and sunny. I hope this weather stays! James and I drove up to Hudson Beach so I could take some pictures of the sunset. Unfortunately the sun was behind some trees, and my hands shake like crazy! Notice how the picture is a little diagonal? Dang hands, I need a tripod!
I love going to the ocean, it’s so calm and breezy…makes me high on life! Yeaaah Maaan.
Filmed a short video for your viewing pleasure, it features James and his handbag.
