Crystal gets a makeover…online.

Since I was a teen I wanted to try one of those virtual makeover websites/software/whatever. Earlier, bored and scrubbin’ it in my pajamas and flipping through the pages of a Women’s World magazine, I noticed text that read Get a free “virtual” makeover! The virtual makeover website is called taaz.com, and it is fun, fun, fun. I don’t know if it’s a new thing or many people know about it but I highly recommend it. It’s very easy to use; basically you take a head on snapshot of yourself then choose from hundreds of hair styles, cosmetics, and eye colors! One thing I really like about the site is all the shades of cosmetics are based on real products. So, if you like a certain color of eyeshadow you’ll know what brand and shade to pick up at the store!

I had been playing on the site up until now for a couple hours. Unfortunately it runs kinda slow on my ghetto arse computer. Anyway, I created three different looks, and now I shall show them off!

I really like the makeup in this one, it’s colors I would actually wear. I know the hair doesn’t look very real because it was kind of hard to align the hair with my round face and big forehead!
And…I know what you’re thinking; “damn, she is UGLY in the before picture!” I did look really fugly today. I had on no makeup and it doesn’t help when my hair is pulled back super tight. One tip I have for using the virtual makeover is do pull your hair back tight. If you don’t you’ll have bumps coming out of the hair you add on top.

Second and third makeover:

I wanted to try out blonde because I love the color and wish I had my blonde hair myself. James always tells me I should dye my hair blonde but I’m not risking frying out my hair, it’s already dry enough. Plus, I already have blonde streaks.

The third photo is obviously not a makeover, I was just playing around. I call it the hooker look. It comes complete with: eyeshadow that makes me look like someone busted me in the face, dark lipstick that no fair/light skinned women should ever wear, and over-applied blush straight out of the 80’s era. If I was a hooker my name would be Barbra.

[EDIT]

LOL, I couldn’t resist giving James a makeover!

I was literally crying while giving him the hair styles, I was laughing so hard! I gave him the 80’s poodle do’!

I use to always look for those virtual make over sites that were free but once I find it, I get too lazy to get a picture of myself to use or just get too horrified at my picture so I end up ditching the website itself. Lol.

Hahaha it’s funny how you described the hooker one. I think it would look fine if there weren’t so much blush on! At least the lipstick isn’t blood red!

HA HA! This is hilarious! I think you should convert to the blonde side with meeee :) It really brings out your eyes ha ha. The hooker one is my favorite, just because the word describes the look so well.

Blonde suits you. LOL @ the hooker one. I posted something like this on my blog a while back. Don’t know if you saw that post? These online makeovers are quite the lulz though.

haha I love james new make-over and although I haven’t heard of this particular site I have heard of others and it is so fun. I like the first look better. I think you look better with the way your hair is now, being blonde is over rated!

Haha @ the hooker look. And I like the blonde! Maybe not as bright but a honey blonde would look nice on you? I always try new things with my hair and have gone blonde before but it shocked my hair to death.

And tell James to definitely rock that look, haha.

How hilarious does you bf look?! I totally got stuck on that website FOREVER. I made myslf look like Sally Bowles (sp?) from “Cabaret.” My brother said I looked like “Liza Minelli…from that one movie…about hookers in Germany.” Which was “Cabaret.” Duh. FREAKIN’ SWEET!!!
