Demeter’s chocolate candy fragrances
I’ve never actually taken a whiff of any Demeter Fragrance Library scents before. I guess they never jumped out at me because of the boring bottles. According to Marsadie they smell true to the scent they claim to be. They remind me of those little smellTHIS fragrances from back in the day. Remember those?
Anyway, I was browsing Sephora for perfumes one day and noticed they had a Hershey’s Reese’s scent. Who wants to smell like chocolate and peanut butter? The boyfriend is a sweets addict, but right now he’s on a diet so, if I wore Reese’s perfume I’d probably be running around the house trying to get away from him! Not only do they have Reese’s but they also have Junior Mints, Hershey’s Kisses, Tootsie Roll, and Hershey’s Dark chocolate.

Has anyone ever smelled these before? Maybe they could be good because they’re all oriental fragrances which is one of my favorite fragrance categories. They should put a disclaimer on the bottles: Do not wear to Weight Watchers meetings. OK, I’m trying to be funny and it’s not working. I’m really curious about these scents though.

Ha! Those are cute. I’d try them out. However, I wouldn’t want to be walking around smelling like food all day lol

That is seriously weird! No, there’s no way I’d ever wear that kind of perfume! o.O

Umm. Wow. lol. As much as I lovelovelove chocolate, I dont think I’d like to smell like it? Come to think of it: doesnt a chocolate bar smell…like almost nothing? Or maybe I just never really bothered to take a whiff, lulz. Damnit now I want to buy a bar of HDC just sniff it.
I like smelling like flowers, baby powder, and clean sheets/fabric softener, so I dont think Ill be trying these scents any time soon.

Omg Crystal, you just put me on one of those “OMG I’M DOING TO DIE IF I DON’T GET THIS” phase. I totally need to get myself one of those!!! I’m so excited now.. ahahha. I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!

I like chocolate but I don’t know if I’d wanna be wearing it all day or working beside someone who is wearing it when your craving chocolate!!!

I have tried a few Demeter fragrances. They smell great, but the only problem is that they have little lasting power. Some people may like that though… I guess some people who don’t like overwhelming and strong perfumes would enjoy these. I do like Demeter a lot but I’d rather swap for them on makeupalley.com or get them cheaper on ebay!

I have chocolate scented body wash from Lush, but for perfume I do NOT think so.

Hmmmm, I’m not sure about that one. I’m sure fragrances have come a long way and I’m sure they DO smell really yummy, but the mere thought of making fragrances that smell like chocolate reminds me of the way “chocolate smelling” things used to smell: like plastic and chemicals. Fail. But to smell like a junior mint, a REAL junior mint, would be heaven.

It’s an interesting idea, but not for me.
I don’t like any food fragrances (except fruits).

Hmm, I don’t know about food scented perfume. Maybe the junior mint one though because junior mints are my vice!

Is that the company that has the Play Doh scented perfume? My friend sent that to me a few months ago because I told her I thought Play Doh was awesome when I was little. LOL I don’t know if I’d wear it, though1

I like some of their fragrances, but I wouldn’t want to walk around smelling like a reeses cup. BTW, I found your blog through J (hollow-star.net).

As much as I love chocolate, I don’t think I’d appreciate smelling like a Hershey’s bar. I always thought chocolate was kind of stinky for something so delicious.
(Jr. Mints may not be so bad. I’m sure it would smell a little more fresh.)
Plus, I’m sure I’d try to drink the perfume, which is most likely toxic.

I’ve seen these before, but never smelled them. I’ve seen weird Demeter ones before, too, like dirt and grass scents.
