Dynamite Girls looking better than ever
I shouldn’t be adding more dolls to my wish list right now, I need to spend my money on more important things like clothes, shoes, and so forth. It’s just that there is so many fabulous releases coming out — I’m especially loving a couple of the new Dynamite Girls. There’s a Halloween themed girl called Spooky Sooki. I just love her face, it sort of looks like a vintage Stacey. Eltin is another new girl who was an exclusive for the Fashion Royalty convention in Pittsburgh (they need to have one in Florida!) She has gorgeous platinum hair and wears cute big sunglasses.

I think Sooki may be my next new doll. She’s around $40 which is considered cheap in the doll collecting world. I’ve been wanting a pretty fashion doll for awhile; mainly so I can dress it in chic outfits. Lately I’ve been browsing photos of vintage Barbie outfits and some of them are so fabulous! If they were human sized I’d probably wear them! Some of my favorites:

“Gold ‘N Glamour”

“On The Avenue/Sunday Visit”

“Poodle Parade”
It’s too bad their price range is from a hundred to the thousands! ![]()

I never really got into the doll scene, but those are SO cute. I really think I was supposed to be a boy, haha.

Are they Barbie dolls? I’m not a doll collector, but I love the one with platinum blonde hair.
Those vintage outfits are so cute. My grandma had some vintage Barbie clothes that were worth tons and of her son’s (my dad’s brother) said he would take them to his house and look them up on Ebay for her but instead he sold them and kept the money - how messed up is that?!

It is nuts how much that stuff costs! But I do understand, once stuff is really old. I need to get around to playing around designing my own doll clothes. My ANTM doll is feeling very naked.

I love both of the dolls especially the second one. Those stuff are pretty pricey but very cute indeed.

Ooh I love the blond’s hair cut.. I’ve always wanted bangs like that but don’t have the guts to try it!
It must be fun dressing up the dolls!

Spooky Sookie is actually really cute.
I remember meeting Ruth Handler, the creator of Barbie, at Bloomingdale and making her sign a bunch of my Barbies (and my special Nicole Miller edition). it was very exciting, lol.
