Feelin’ the fringe
Fringe has been seen on a lot of fashions lately—from shoes to clothes to jewelry—the trend is everywhere this summer/fall season. I personally have mixed feelings on the boho fringe look. While I’ll probably never be brave enough to rock the look on my feet, I’d definitely rock it over my shoulder with a fringe bag!

Left: Bebe Kenya Fringe Hobo. Center: Urban Outfitter’s Suede Fringe Hobo. Right: Alloy
Tasha Fringe Hobo.
I think a fringe handbag would complement a casual outfit. For an example, take a look at this outfit I put together on Polyvore. Although, the bag could probably be paired with anything really, it just takes creative thinking.
I’m so ready to throw out my big and bulky handbag for a fringe one. They provide function, form and style, which are the important things I look for in a bag!
What do you think of the fringe trend?

I love that look you put together, and I like the fringe. That Bebe bag is definitely my favorite. It seems like a good trend moving from summer to fall - sort of the best of both worlds.

I had a fringed leather jacket when I was a kid. I looked like a cowgirl lol.

I would love a bag like that! I like the rocker western look that the fringe makes me think of. I love the Bebe one due to the heart charm on it and that it’s bigger so I can store all of my stuff in it.
I doubt I’d be able to wear fringe boots though!

Hmm, the fringe has too much of an Indian feel for my taste. And it reminds me of boots and a jacket that my sister had, back in 1992 lol.

I like that one from Alloy!!! But I don’t think I’ll actually get one. I am not a big handbag girl so I’m pretty much sticking to classic everywhere anytime kind of bags. LOL!

i don’t really like fringe. :/ It’s ok on my moms biker chick jacket though. It’s just more fun. But I wouldn’t wear it for every day thing. :/

I’d rock the Bebe Kenya Fringe Hobo, but I don’t know about the other ones. I am now starting to like bags and stuff, so yeahhh lol. But yeah they would go well with casual look. =)
Take care xox xx

I like fringe bags. I am part Cherokee and it just has that Native American look to it. I am like you - not sure if I would wear it on my feet exclusively, but I LOVE it on these bags.
