Flickr favs - home design inspiration
While browsing Flickr and random blogs, I’ve noticed a lot of people making collages of their favorite Flickr pictures. So, the other day while I was extremely bored, I thought it would be fun to make my own using home design as the collage’s theme. I’ve wanted to decorate my apartment for awhile now, but the lease is up in October, and my broke butt can’t afford it. Plus, it would be a lot rewarding decorating a house I know I’d live in for awhile—I could actually enjoy it. When I finally do get to decorate I hope to include a lot of bright colors, and a mix of contemporary and vintage furnishings. If that makes sense… Anyway, these photos give me a lot of ideas and inspiration, especially on how to display my growing collection of dolls and vinyl toys.

i think everyone enjoys decorating and would like to if only they had the money. :/ all the photos here are so colorful! if that is what my apt looked like, i think i would be happy most of the time.
i really like the tealight holders, they make me want to light some candles now…

Lots of hot stuff! I love that pink corner with the Audrey photo. #1 thing I dislike in my apartment is our couch. It’s big & comfy & cream-colored, but I think it’s kinda hideous & would rather have a square, super-contemporary couch & loveseat.
I feel you on the decorating. We may or may not move in February. It’s a long time off, but it makes me not want to settle.

GORG! I probably spend more on decor than I should now that I have a house. But it’s super rewarding. I’ve only lived in apartments up until now and if I see anymore white/prefab/whatever, I’m gonna SCREAM. And what are those star lights? HOT.

Those photos are beautiful. I love the 9th photo. I’ve always dreamt of having my room something like that, with the pink and white combination. The pink couch adds a really nice touch to it. When it’s time for me to decorate I want to incorporate lots of bright colors too. Seeing these designs just makes me happy.

Love this flickr mosaic - heh i wish i had my own house to decorate as well. Probably i will include lots of asian inspired furniture and a cute bright & colourful office for myself

Oh my God! I need those pink couches! This was a really cool collage you made. Decorating a house like that looks like so much fun, but very expensive.
