Flower photos, and haters.
I went to the botanical gardens today to shoot some photos…OK I’m lying, the reason I really went there was to get the heck out of my apartment because the lover and I were fighting, and he was going to be home soon. Usually when I get stressed/upset/mad I go for a drive and crank my CD player, but can’t really do that with these gas prices. Anyway, when I got to the gardens I had to wait in my car for, oh, twenty minutes because it was POURING rain. Once it stopped I got out and went photo snappin’ crazy, I had to hurry up though because I was getting feasted on by mosquitoes. I think I got bit like ten times, hope I don’t get Malaria…I know, I know, that’s something I shouldn’t joke about.
I got a couple good shots that I’m proud of considering my camera sucks.
Of course I did some post processing on the photos. I really want a digital SLR in a baad way. There was one on my amazon wish list and it was only $450, but it went back up to $600 for some reason. Those a-holes. I should of gotten one when I had the chance.
Speaking of photos…I was browsing my flickr and I noticed that this photo has a lot of hits. I checked the stats and saw it was was coming from this comments thread. I usually ignore these things, but how is someone going to pick on me just because I’m associated with someone else? Gotta love the jealous haters. Don’t people have anything better to do with their time?

I so know what you mean… when me & my man are fighting I always find it easier to just be away from him. So I go out walking or driving.
The flowers pics are awesome! I love the raindrops.
God I can’t believe people can be so pathetic!! Great lip shot though!

Your camera isn’t sucky. I think it takes good photos!! Well, you being pretty may have a lot to do with it too. Hehe!!!
About the girl Renee, I don’t know who she is or what your relations are, but I read a few of the flames on her.. ah well, I don’t wanna dig deeper into that but I think they should have left you out of it.
Don’t worry, we love you. People who say nasty things often do that to make themselves feel better… You’re pretty and they know it well. =)

For not being a DSLR, they came out really nice - I wish my crappy point & shoot would take half decent pictures, haha.

Ugh the bummer to not having a car is when Donny and I don’t get along I can’t leave. We almost never fight and it always blows over in less than an hour, but I miss being able to just drive off. When my ex pissed me off I used to drive around town blasting music for hours.
Great photos though. I want a good camera as well but I know nothing about photography.
That is quite a bit of hating, but honestly, I would take that hating just to get the traffic I’m sure she brings in!

Those are great shots. I love close-ups of flowers. They’re probably God’s most beautiful creations, well… other than beautiful women.

The photos turned out great. They’re really amazing. I hate mosquitoes. We have quite a lot here. Usually when I wake up on mornings my hand is full with red dots. *sigh* A week ago someone close to me died from Dengue Fever.

I don’t know why you said your camera sucks, because it’s 1000x better than mine. The pictures came out so detailed too.
As for the flames… people need lives. Seriously. That MAC lipstick picture is gorgeous, and I’m not even sure who Renee is… but people should stop stalking her and nitpicking at her every move.

Those are some beautiful shots. I love the one with the water drops. I’ve never been to a botanical garden so that’s really cool to see. I hope everything with you and your boyfriend got worked out. <3
Also, that comments thread is all over the place. I’ve heard about it on some boards I’m on. Haters are lame. That photo you have is amazing!

awesome photography I love how the water droplets are still on the flowers. I think you should enter these into a contest. It’s a good thing to get away from your boyfriend when your mad at him, better than saying or doing things you can’t take back.

Good thing the rain only lasted 20 minutes and not hours upon hours! And hey, the water even gave some extra pizazz to the shots. =)

Oo, I really love the photos, they came out really nice. That sucks about the camera going back up in price. Hopefully it’ll come down again and you’re able to get it.

Those are some pretty pictures. I think that is the same camera that my mom was wanting but then couldn’t get because of bills and the price going back up. :/ Hopefuly the price will go back down and you can get one.
