Hard Candy Cosmetics Summer Sale!

Hard Candy Cosmetics has been one of my favorite makeup brands since they first debuted in 1995 with their Vintage nail polish. The brand is mostly geared towards teenagers, but my kooky and girly self just can’t get enough of their pretty shades and fun packaging.
Today, while checking my email inbox I received a message from the brand stating that all the products on their website are 50% off. At first I thought to myself “is this message fake?” It was in my junk folder, so to be positive I pointed my browser toward hardcandy.com and sure enough their having a summer sale with EVERYTHING 50% off. I’m so happy, I already purchased three things and only spent $20 dollars with shipping. If I could spend more money I would probably buy the whole damn website! I hope the sale last for a little bit because I really want to get their perfume - it smells a lot like Aquolina Pink Sugar, but with a spicy kick to it, and $21 isn’t very much for a 1.7 oz bottle of perfume.
I seriously love this brand, and although every thing’s on sale I hope their not going out of business or anything. Yet, I can’t see happening since their a division of Urban Decay Cosmetics, but who knows…

This cute little kit is probably the best deal simply because it includes everything: 8 eye shadows, 6 lip glosses, 1 eye liner, 2 concealers, 1 mascara, 1 blush, 1 bronzer, and applicators. It’s perfect to take traveling, or give it as a gift. Pus it comes in an adorable Chinese take-out box. $25 $12.50
This is actually one of the products I bought… With the hot humid summer weather I’d rather skip caking on the foundation and instead try this light tinted moisturizer. It claims to even out the skin and make it look natural and finished. It’s also oil-free which is perfect for people with problem skin, and protects against UV rays but contains no chemical sunscreens - super! $16 $8.25
OK… I bought one of these too, but look how cuute they are! I’m not one for using my finger to apply lip gloss (I’m too lazy to go and wash my finger), but I just love the packaging on these and have lusted after them for awhile. I got the flavor Chocolate Caramel Kiss, and it sounds yummy. $6 $3
I lust after this product simply for the fact that I’ve always wanted to put loose glitter all over my eyelids without it falling on my face and stabbing me in the eyes. Bling Bling comes in four different shades of loose glitter each with a base to keep it in place. I want to rock this at a nightclub. $16 $8

I cannot help but shop as well when there’s a sale. I really love the Take Out Makeup Kit and the Lollipop Lip Gloss. Very cute packaging indeed. =)

I noticed that you can’t get Hard Candy in stores anymore and only online so I wouldn’t be too surprised if one day they don’t sell it at all anymore.
They seem to have cute stuff though, it’s a shame they don’t ship internationally.

I ordered did a NYX haul instead… I haven’t really gone back to drugstore make up after I started buying department store stuff but I’ve always loved NYX. Their packaging def. isn’t as cute as Hard Candy though!

WOW Thanks for this post Crystal! I’ll check them out. I was planning to go to Sephora this weekend but I think I’ll get some eyeshadow from here (I want to try out the Bling Bling) first and then see if I like it. Hehe! They do have cute stuff!
