I want to be a Dynamite Girl!
The Dynamite Girls are new collector dolls by Jason Wu. When I first saw the picture of the dolls I thought; “they’re so pretty and stylish, and remind me of the 1960′s Barbies.” The three dolls include golden blonde Jett, ash blonde Aria, and red head Gavin. They’re also releasing a fourth doll this spring; dark haired Rufus Blue. A few things I like about them is they have rooted eyelashes and are 12″ tall so they can probably fit in Barbie clothes, they’re also a bargain at $40 dollars a pop! I really, really want to get Aria, I love her pigtails and tan skin. I also wouldn’t mind getting Rufus Blue.
I’m going to have to wait a awhile before I can order any of the dolls, due to me being sick I haven’t been able to work. I didn’t go to work all last week and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to go anytime soon. I’m sooo exhausted, I just wanna sleep. I don’t even feel like doing usual chores around the house, I did want to go for a drive and see if I could find some spots to take pictures but I don’t even feel like doing that.
I’m also a little depressed, I’m sick of living in Florida. We’re planning on moving to Illinois in October when our lease is up, so hopefully that happens. I’m sick of the people down here, they’re just different. When I’m at the store and a person looks at me and I smile back at them they don’t even smile back. Or when I hold a door open for someone I rarely get a “thank you.” I’m usually very fond of old people, and down here it just seems like their different, they give me dirty looks! In Michigan when I used to work at Walgreen, older people used to love talking to me. I even used to take an 83 year old women to garage sales with me! I’m tired of being so far away from all of my family, and the friends I’ve had for years. My sister is having another baby in April and I won’t even be around for when she has it. The last grandma I have living isn’t doing so well and I would like to see her more before she passes. I can’t wait to leave this place, it’s so overrated! Sure, the weather is nice and a lot of it is beautiful but that’s just not enough anymore.
xoxo, Crystal

I dunno why…but i love looking at the dolls you collect. I like seeing what people collect anyway. Probably cuz i have so many collections of my own. lol I go to goodwills faithfully and find these old-timers ceramic figurines all the time. I dunno what they are…or who makes them…but i only find them at goodwills. lol
And i feel ya on the rudeness of people. I work retail so i meet the best and worst of them. But i know how considerate i am of everybody around me-regardless where i am- and its rare i find anyone who is outgoing and shows the same consideration back. I think im the only kid in ohio never to visit florida…but maybe im not missing so much anyhow. What happend to common curteousy? (i know i didnt spell that word right)

Those are so freaking cute! When I was little I had all my mom’s Barbie’s from the 60′s and 70′s and I loved how different their hair and make up was from the 80′s and 90′s Barbies.
I hope that you feel better soon! It must be frustrating to have to take so much time off.
Everything you said about Florida is how I feel about it here in California. People are so freaking rude! You open a door and are more likely to have them glare at you or not even look at you than to get even a smile. Plus, it’s super dirty and smells really gross. I guess I’m just used to Oregon where there are trees, people are happy and nice, and people take enough pride in where they live to not dump sewage into the local bodies of water.

I think Seattle is full of nice people. When I first moved here, I was surprised of people on the streets nodding at me or smiling. Well, I don’t notice that anymore, maybe because I don’t look at people when I walk nowadays.. lol, well the point is, they greet and smile. Of course not everyone here does that, but there are those who do.
Oh, and when I go to the malls, and for example a couple is going in at the same time, usually the guy will hold the door for me as well, and I think that is really nice! I say thank you all the time of course. I don’t think I can be rude to a nice person… LOL!
By the way, Rufus Blue is soooo pretty, I want her too!

I love looking at your dolls too. You make me even more want to get the Top Model dolls I posted about awhile back. I miss having things to play with.
And I love the dark-haired one you posted.
Tashina is silly – Oregon sucks. You crazy people move to sunny states and complain. LOL but I have a space heater at my feet right now. It has snowed this month and rains almost daily. I hate living somewhere I love so much in the warm seasons but hate in the cold. We are actually a ‘temperate’ climate here, but it’s cold to me.
Eew my boyfriend works at Walgreens and I hate the place. He is always there, and the girls there are either old white trash bags or young white trash hussys who I am positive hit on him daily. I’m sure you aren’t that way though.
It also makes me mad because I’ve applied there a hundred times in the past and he got the job his first try.

ARE they Barbies? Or I guess, made in the same style as Barbie? I really like them! They remind me of the Barbies that my mom had when she was little. When my grandparents would babysit me when I was younger I’d play with her dolls.
I’ve only been to Florida once, but I was 7 years old, so I don’t remember it very much. And I was on vacation so I wasn’t talking to many people I didn’t know. I moved to Pennsylvania (for school) from California, and people in the midwest are definitely nicer than in CA. But California will always be my home, and I always miss it… Good luck with the move, if it all works out.
Feel better!

I really hope that move happens in October so you can get away from the Florida snoody people.
I like the doll with the white booty shorts on!

Oh wow, those Dyanmite Dolls are so Valley of the Dolls-esque. I WANT!!! And I’m not even into collecting dolls (or anything, actually) at all. They’re so mod. And is it bad that I want Aria’s outfit? It’s so Upper East Side, haha.
