In My Bag: Rimmel’s Glam’Eyes Mascara
While on a recent visit at Walgreen’s, I started browsing those three aisles that they always have in front of the cosmetics department - the ones with shelves loaded with displays of all the new beauty products. I wasn’t looking for anything particular, but rather hoping something would catch my eye - and it did. It was Rimmel’s Glam’Eyes Mascara, which is ones of Rimmel London’s newest mascara available in the United States.
What really jumped out at me was the cute packaging; the tube is black with pink lettering, and a crown on the lid - very girly. It also had a sticker guaranteeing 80% longer lashes, but don’t all mascaras promise something along those lines…? Then, I saw a sticker that read “All Rimmel Cosmetics 50% off.” OK! I was sold on it and purchased the mascara to add to my collection.

I’m actually very satisfied and happy with this mascara that cost me $3. I’m wearing it in the picture above, and that’s without using an eyelash curler. Not only does it do good at adding volume and length to my lashes, it works a whole lot better than the last two high end brand mascaras I’ve purchased. I’ve found it works best applying it with long fast strokes; then using a mascara comb - it prevents the lashes from grouping together.
I don’t believe Glam’Eyes is my perfect mascara (I’ll never find that), but it’s still a great product and I highly recommend it.

Randomness, but I have to comment on the fact that you have beautiful eyes! The mascara looks good on you. I tried a tube of Rimmel mascara once, but it was one of their basic, cheapo products. I wasn’t too impressed. Maybe I should splurge a bit and test it out. As for the perfect mascara - I’m doubting I’ll ever find it, either! The only brand that comes close to perfect for me is Sephora’s brand. Pretty great, although some set-backs as most products have.

Hmm my BF works at Walgreens so maybe I’ll ask him to pick me up a tube. I need a new eyelash curler as well. I love that your posts always include a review plus a photo of you actually using the product.

Your eyes are gorgeous!
Unfortunately I have short, stick straight Asian eyelashes so no mascara works for me so I resort to falsies if I want long lashes… which is only to go out clubbing (otherwise I just totally don’t give a crap about my lashes).

I like cute packaging. But like you, the first thing I look at is the price lol. Sure I like to splurge, but I know when it’s worth it and when it’s not.

I was hearing some rave review about this mascara but I couldn’t find it! Like Jessa said, I used a Rimmel mascara once and I ended up throwing it away because it sucked! But I think I might give Rimmel another shot, especially with this one!
