Movies that get me in the mood
No, I’m not referring to porn, I’m talking about Christmas movies that get me into the holiday mood! After all, I need extra convincing that it’s actually the holiday season living in hot, snow-less Florida. So, here’s some of my favorite movies to watch this time of year…I know I probably forgot some. In no particular order—with A Christmas Story as an exception because it really is my number one.

Oh, I forgot Home Alone! Love that one too.

Dude, A Christmas Story is the SHIT! Alexis freaks out every time we pass a house with one of those inflatable leg lamps in the yard.
And Travis has fixed our laptop theme so that every time it shuts down it says “‘Fraj-eel-ay,’ it must be Italian!” “I think it says ‘Fragile’ honey.” “Oh yeah.”
Every time we make an ‘error’ we hear people screaming “You’ll shoot your eye out! You’ll shoot your eye out!”

those are all awesome movies. Me and my daughter where just watching one on abc family and still watching. i love home alone i can watch that all the time lol

Ooh, I should check some of these out! I never really watched Christmas movies as a kid so I don’t really know any of them except Home Alone, which I watched for the first time when I was like 16. I’ve heard good things about A Christmas Story though so I might give it a try.

The Grinch and Home Alone are two of my favorites! I also like watching Black Christmas around this time because I’m such a horror freak lol.

The Santa Clause is my favourite. The second one is OK, but I think the first was the best. I watched it at the weekend - Christmas movies (and music) always make me smile. I love them all…but Jack Frost used to scare me as a child.

I love Home Alone 1 & 2. My Dad and I watch them every year and have been since I was a little kid, haha. It’s a Gallo family tradition over here in CT. I also love A Christmas Story, and Rudolph. I can still remember as a kid I was fascinated by his nose, lol.
