My Cosmetic Case, and what’s in it.
One day while browsing the Sanrio store, I came across a Caboodle style Hello Kitty case. I thought to myself; “this would look great in my Hello Kitty bathroom, and probably hold all my makeup.” The case was also half off so I purchased it.
Cute huh? Yeah…it’s a little childish, but it matches my bathroom perfectly. Plus, it holds all my makeup (for now) and has a divided tray on top to hold the smaller items and keep everything organized.
Although, it’s not about the pretty case, it’s what’s inside that matters! Inside my cosmetic case you’ll find a mix of drugstore and high-end cosmetics. I’d say I have a good amount of makeup, but not an excessive amount. I realize products do eventually go bad, and you can only wear so much. It is hard for me to not keep buying stuff though, especially with those weekly trips to Sephora!
I could talk about all the products I have, but it would just be a long list, and I don’t always use everything. Instead, I’m going to talk about a few of my favorite products and tools in my case…
Moisturizing is very important. I use Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion everyday, and especially before applying foundation. It helps keep my skin smooth and doesn’t clog my pores. It also last a long time, I’ve had mine for a year!
Eyeliner is a must-have of mine, and I totally love Clinique Cream Shaper For Eyes. I like the wet eyeliner look, but I never could apply it, this stuff goes on creamy almost like a wet liner. It never smudges and still looks the same after wearing it for hours. The price is around fourteen dollars, but this pencil last for months.
With a lot of makeup products being pencils, everyone needs a sharpener. I love my sharpener because it’s metal and has four different sized holes. I have no clue what brand it is, all I know is it says “Germany” on it.
For eyeshadow I like palettes. I’d rather get a bunch of different colors than just one color. They’re usually a better deal also. Right now I’m using the Hard Candy Kaleidoscope Eye Palette. It comes with nine different colors, and I like every single one.
I actually take this one out of my case and carry it in my bag to work. It’s called Neutrogena translucent oil-control powder, and it works great. I use it whenever my face starts to get a little shiny at work. You’d think it’d cake up but nope! It can be wore alone or over makeup. I also have the Neutrogena sheer highlighting blush, I use it everyday.
I recently got Some Kind-A Gorgeous by Benefit and it’s great! I use it for those mornings when I don’t have time to do my makeup, but I still want some coverage. Some Kind-A Gorgeous is a translucent cream-powder, it goes on smooth and hides my imperfections. It leaves my skin feeling baby soft, and it’s also oil-free!
In my last post I mentioned purchasing Urban Decay Primer Potion. I’m amazed at how good it works! It makes my eyeshadow a lot brighter, and never crease! I was up until 4am last night and my eyeshadow looked the exact same as when I first applied it. I love this stuff!
Well…I could go on and on about more of my stuff, but this is all I have time for. I didn’t even get to mention my lipgloss! Oh well.

Crystal the case is so adorable. I’m in love with it. =) I think I need to look into the Neutrogena translucent oil-control powder. I need one of those. I dislike when your face tends to get a bit shiny.

omg a caboodle! I use to have a caboodle back in the day. All of my friends and I would take ours to school and sit it on top of our desks trying to be all cool and in style. I think I kept stickers in mine though.

aren’t Hello Kitty suppose to be cute?? but this box I did not find cute because the items in it doesn’t look organize,, it seems to be just an ordinary pink box to me,,

I need to get a “caboodle”. I’ve been meaning to for the past… years… and I still haven’t gotten one! Jeeze! My stuff’s all in a box from Proactiv that I tried once before, and others are stashed on my table.. It’s A MESS!! Hahahaha!!

I used to be sooo obsessed with Sanrio stuff as a kid! It’s so cute! And yikes, that reminds me how much i need to get one of those boxes.

I use some kind of gorgeous and the eyeshadow primer as well. Your case is cute. I used to have a big train case that I got from Sephora but it got annoying so I have a bunch a smaller cases laying around my house now. OMG I love this theme. Its so cute & pink. Its really pretty.

That case is so cute! I love Hello Kitty and always want to buy the stuff. Sadly, my boy won’t allow it.
That Hard Candy palette looks awesome! I love palettes with a variety of wearable shades. I tried Some Kind-A Gorgeous this weekend and LOVED it. It’s amazing! UDPP is also amazing! I’m so glad that I bought it because it’s so worth the money.
