Valentine’s Day
Heh. How would you like to get a card like that?
So today was Valentine’s Day. I miss being a little kid in grade school and exchanging those little cards…I remember I was shy and I never wanted to give away cards to boys that said “Be my valentine,” I didn’t want anyone to think I had a crush on them. I was such a goofy kid.
I was going to get James a shirt for a gift, but I ended up just getting him a card and chocolates. What do you really get a guy on Valentine’s Day? I was having fun in the card isle, I can’t help but laugh at how corny some of the cards are. I usually like to pick out a humorous card, but the one I ended up getting was a tad bit mushy. I couldn’t find “the perfect card” because I waited until the last minute and went to the store at 3pm today. James got me one of those music cards that plays “Can’t fight this feeling anymore” by REO Speedwagon. I got a laugh out of it because he knows I love all those older bands. I also got a little monkey plush, and some chocolates (of course.) I told him not to buy me much because my birthday is next month! He cooked me a fat steak for dinner, and then we watched The Sweetest Thing. I would have liked to watch something else but there was nothing else on television, it’s a pretty funny movie though.
Now I’m on here talking to myself…
My friendship with Crystalyn (the girl I was talking about in my last entry is definitely over! She decided to post a bulletin targeting me on myspace. For a 27 year old I don’t think she could be more immature. How is she gonna write a bulletin?! If she wanted to say something she could have said it directly to me, or at least send a message or comment. What’s with all these grown women acting like their 12 years old? Sometimes I think I should just get rid of my myspace account, it seems like all that site does is cause problems! I’m very happy I’m done with that girl, I don’t need anyone like her polluting my life. From now on I’m going to be very choosy with who I want as friends.

Adults posting like that is lame. Umm I did the same thing as a kid and would be super careful about which cards I gave to who. I don’t have a job with coworkers now (I work from home), but the last jobs I’ve had I have bought packages of valentines and handed them out at work and to my friends.

People actually pay attention to myspace bulletin? 0_o I mean, if someone’s actually going to publicly vent online, do it on a blog or a forum. Or am I the only one who thinks that way?
