Night Wear
Ever since I’ve been going out more at night to clubs and such I’ve come to realize that I don’t have crap to wear! My wardrobe consists of a lot of tees and jeans; it’s basically all casual pieces. If I had to name my style I would call it “The beach bum.” Give me a colored tee, a jean skirt, flip flops and I’m ready to go. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE fashion and trying out all the trends, but I guess I just waste most of my money on beauty products and accessories instead. I really want to start focusing more on clothes, especially nice stuff that I can wear out at night. When it comes to clubbin’ clothes I’m not one for the stringy barely there tops, not that they’re not cute, but if I ever tried to dance in one I’d probably bust someone in the eye with a tit. Plus, outside of my job I try to look like a hooker as little as possible. I like to go for a more glamorous elegant look, like flowy blouses, dress pants, black heels, ect.. With Polyvore I’ve put together two looks that I would wear for a night out…
So here’s the question: What do/would you like to wear on a night out to the club?

I always find that I have nothing to wear when going clubbing… but recently all I’ve been wearing are jeans and a nice top so it’s been easy. I swear I won’t wear a skirt again though until I drop the excess 20lbs I gained the last year!

I really dig that second outfit. I usually go with huge earrings, and I have my piercings and the tattoo on my chest, so I like to do simple outfits, especially just basic skinnies with a black tank or tube top. I need to step it up, but it is really hard to make clothing a priority when you’re broke a lot. Honestly, I think anything works with clubbing with heels. There are lots of bimbo looking girls out at clubs around here, so sometimes I’ll just pair some great heels with jeans and a band tee and I can still feel sexy and pick up dudes if I wanted.

I am totally kidding. I cannot stand that song. LOL! I usually wear something comfortable and whatever shows off my legs and the perfect heels. Last time I went,I had this silver babydoll dress, tight black jeans, big black belt around the ribs, patent leather Frederick’s of Hollywood 4 inch heels–and I was dying the entire time. I will not wear that again. Too bad when I type my outfit out, I sound like a tramp. I have to also say, the second outfit with the green top is something one of my roommates wore. I mean the EXACT outfit. Obviously you both have amazing taste.

Those two outfits are elegant. I don’t do clubbing but my closet is filled with the same clothing as yours. Tees, jeans and shirts. It’s great to invest in an outfit like one of the two especially for a night out. It’s very chic and sophisticated. I hate the trashy look girls do when they go clubbing. They’re practically naked.

I’d totally wear the outfit with the green top - I like tops you can wear a bra with.
It’s one thing to wear a stringy top if you have no boobs and nothing to fall out, but I agree it’s not really a good look on anyone with a chest.
I always end up wearing flats so that I’m not taller than all the guys :/

I’m in the same boat as you I dont really own anything thats night clubish.. I normally just wear a simple tee and jeans and runners or my knee platform high boots (no real heels for me), recently I have purchased a nice top for my grad reunion/dressy up dinners…
Those do look like nice outfits and I do agree the lack of fabric tops aren’t good for anyone who has a chest…

I usually opt for dresses and heels or a cami, a mini, and heels. No matter, I always feel underdressed cos I dont really glam up haha.
I wouldnt wear the second outfit, though, cos it barely shows any skin and I’m skankeh! like that

I don’t really club. But, I would probably wear jeans and something sleeveless (sweat spots are not hot).

I just go with dark jeans, a cute top that I’m comfy in, and shoes that I’ll still be able to balance in after a few drinks. Lol.

I’m a scrub when I go out, seriously. It’s really sad, but oh well. I usually wear a black vneck shirt with some cleavage and jeans. I tend to focus more on my face/makeup than my outfits for some reason.
I love the green top though. It looks fun and easy to move/dance around in!
