Oscar Night
I watched the 80th Annual Academy Awards last night, the whole 4 freaking hours of it! I always watch award shows, but the Oscars are probably one of my favorites. I like how they recognize all of the people it takes to make a movie, not just the actors, producers, directors, ect… I also like watching people cry when they win an award, I can only imagine how it must be to have that feeling of accomplishment. I’ve never even seen a lot of the movies that were nominated except for Enchanted. The musical performances were enjoyable, I heard the song “Falling Slowly” from the movie Once for the first time and it’s such a beautiful song, after I watched the show I ran to the computer and downloaded it, and made it my Myspace profile song. :grin:
One reason I also watch the Oscars is the fashion, of course. So here is my best and worsed dressed picks:

i agree with your picks. i especially loved katherines dress.
in response to your comment on my site, taking time apart and for yourself is a wonderful thing. with my exhusband, about once every two weeks we did a swap out and i would go stay with his best friends wife, and his best friend would go stay with my ex. it was tons of fun girl nights, and it helped prevent against massive blowout fights all the time.

I love “Falling Slowly”.
I don’t think (all) men suck, they are just different than girls. I get headaches from crying too.

Top Model is about half drama and half fashion. I mostly just like having something that’s ‘mine’ that I’m into. It’s fun to guess who will be eliminated and I get inspiration from outfits/photo shoots on the show. I adore Adrienne Curry from Cycle 1 as well.
Yeah the show always has a plus size model but I think they are gross to be honest. It’s crap that a healthy sized girl who happens to not be a size 2 can’t make it. I think you have to be a 12-14 to be plus sized and they never win anyway.
Oh and there was no poo in the toilet but there was pee and toilet paper because we kinda have a “If it’s yellow let it mellow” rule being as it’s just me and the boy.

someday, I will make sure that I shall walk to the Red Carpet as well.. one of my goal is to be able to shake hands those people who usually comes to that awards night.. I really hoped i’ll get there.. :angel:

Oof, I’m sorry to hear you’re having lover troubles. The lover and I had a…thing last week, too. I was up til 5am crying (I looked like death in class), but we weren’t fighting; just airing out issues and stuff. Men can be such disappointments…but when you think things over and your head isn’t that cloudy (from all the crying!), you’ll see that it was just you projecting your ideals on to them. Or something like that! I love my man :heart:

I watched the Oscars too although it aired in the middle of the night here (started around 3 am!). I liked those dresses you picked too, but I also liked Jennifer Garner’s dress. =)

I’m bad with that stuff ha ha! I usually only watch the award shows FOR the fashion and dresses 
I can’t believe what Ellen Page wore for the AA! She could’ve looked so glamorous, but didn’t :/

OMG! Katherine’s dress is the killer!! I loved it! It’s my favorite too! And Anne Hathaway’s too!!! They’re both very gorgeous and classy!!!
