Take my new doll out of her box?
I’m not the type of doll collector who usually keeps her dolls in the box. I usually take them out, change their outfits, and take pictures, but Dusty’s mint and looks so nice in her lovely box. What should I do?!
Isn’t she such a fugly little doll? That’s why I love her. She’s vintage from 1974 by Kenner, and such a bargain at only $15 dollars including shipping. For some reason she’s not popular among collectors… I haven’t a clue why. She may be goofy looking but so are Blythe and Emerald Witch and they’re extremely popular.
I’ll probably end up taking her out of the box, I don’t think I can resist. She’ll be hard to find clothes for because she kinda has a body like a Ken doll. Heh, I’ll just buy Ken clothes for her and she can be my butch lesbian doll.

LMAO if she’s that old and only going for $15, does that mean she’ll never be worth hundreds of dollars? I think that if you are collecting to resell for big money you should not take her out, but playing with her probably wins if your goal is FUN!

Ahhh.. I love this new look. Seriously. I don’t know what it is about it, but it’s definitely caught my eye.
What’s your plan for the doll? Keeping it for when it’s worth something, then resell? If so, leave it in the box. If you want to dress her up and take pics, take her outta the box!

i dunno if you’re a member of TPF or not…but there’s a woman on the forum who LOVES barbies…and like you she takes them out of the box and dresses them up lol Sometimes I wish I had a daughter or a little sis to play barbies with again I miss it haha
