Top Picks: Perfume Bottles
I love perfume. One reason being I like to smell nice, and it also comes in handy those days I forget to shower. 
Secondly, I love all the pretty bottles! If it wasn’t for the unique bottles, I don’t think I’d like it as much as I do. Sometimes when I’m done with a perfume, I don’t even want to throw it away, but what the heck am I going to do with an empty bottle? Hmm…maybe I can add to my long list of collections. Sheesh, where am I gonna put all this crap I collect? Anyway back on topic… One day I had been browsing the internet and I stumbled upon this post listing their picks for the twenty prettiest perfume bottles. I thought “hey, I wanna do a post like that!” Well, I haven’t seen every perfume ever made so this is a list of MY top ten favorite perfume bottles.

Estée Lauder Beyond Paradise
Ever since I first saw Beyond Paradise while working at Walgreens, I thought the bottle was so pretty! I love it’s teardrop shape and the glass rainbow coloring, the round topper is very elegant. I can’t really say much about the scent, I only remember smelling it once and not liking it, but that was also a couple years ago.
Nina By Nina Ricci
I love the fact that the bottle looks like an apple, you can’t go wrong with fruit. Unless…you’re allergic? It smells great and was awarded best fragrance for women 2007.
Vera Wang Princess
I like the heart shaped bottle and the crown topper with rhinestones. It’s simply beautiful! Or just Simply Vera…? I haven’t smelled this one yet, but I’ll have to the next time I go to a department store.
Betsy Johnson Perfume
Just like Betsy Johnson’s fashions her perfume bottle is funky and bold! The topper is amazingly tall and it’s hot pink! (One of my favorite colors.) I wonder if the bottle would even fit in my medicine cabinet? I remember smelling the perfume once and liking it…
M By Mariah Carey
I own this perfume and like it very much! I love the bottle’s purple color and it has a butterfly topper! I love butterflies… The only problem I have with the topper is the chrome around it flakes off. The scent is light and sweet, it’s so light I sometimes find myself having to spray it through out the day so I can still smell it.
Lolita Lempicka
The bottle’s design is beautiful. Plain and simple. This is one of my sisters favorites scents, I think is smells decent also. It’s definitely different, I once heard a girl say it smells like an air freshener in a public bathroom. I think it smells better on the skin.
J. Lo Live Luxe
The different coloring on the glass bottle is beautiful, and I love the shape it kind of reminds of a Genie bottle. I know I’ve smelled Live but I can’t remember if I’ve smelled this one…I’m not too big on her scents but J.Lo can put together some b-e-a-utiful bottles! Go on with your bad self Jenny from the block!
Wish Pink Diamond By Chopard
This one would have been higher on the list, but unfortunately I have never seen it in person and I couldn’t find a official website for it. The bottle looks very unique, I love that it’s in the shape of a diamond. I have no idea what this smells like, if you do feel free to share.
Juicy Couture Eau De Parfum
I own this stuff and I love it! So does my sister and everyone else I know. I love the huge clear topper and the charms it comes with it. The design on the front looks like it would be something a princess would own. Yeah, I know that sounded corny but it’s honestly what I think of when I look at it. I love the fruity scent and I get compliments every time I wear it.
Fantasy By Britney Spears
It’s hot pink. I love the bottle’s design, and I like the scent even more. It’s very sweet and reminds me a little of Pink Sugar which is my favorite fragrance. Fantasy even comes with a super cute box with a ribbon on top! I actually like all of Britney’s scents… Britney, you may look trashy but at least you’ll always smell good! I wonder if these celebrities even wear the perfumes they endorse?
Wow…that was fun! That only took me forever to complete. My ass hurts now from this cheap $20 dollar computer chair from Wal*Mart. I would like to thank the WP Unformatted plugin for making this post a little easier to type. By the way, Alex King is a spiffy looking man…haha don’t you agree?

I loved this post! I’ve been working a fragrance post for my site too, so it was nice to see someone else’s picks. I keep empty bottles too. So many of them are just too pretty to toss.
You’ve never made cupcakes! :-O You should! Even if it’s just from cake mix. They are so cute and so much fun to decorate!

I absolutely love perfume as well! I’m a big Fantasy lover myself. It is the most sweetest smell and it lasts for awhile! I got compliments on it all the time. I can’t wait to buy more!
I haven’t smelled Vera Wang Princess either. The bottle is beautiful, so I can only imagine the smell is even better

Mm, my cousin has a Britney lotion and I love how it smells. Yes, I actually might buy one of her perfumes.. but only a small one. I still have 5 bottles here that are not even half empty! OH NO! LOL!!
Oh, but those are very pretty bottles!!! My sisters collect bottles too. I don’t really.
About my bf and his twin, yup it’s cool he hangs out with us, but I guess it’s like hanging out with a group of friends, except it happens to be his twin and his gf. HEHE. Also, I make sure that the twin doesn’t feel like a third wheel so Jake and I aren’t being too couple-like whenever his twin is there.
And taking pictures in stores… I had the same problem before. Well, in the Philippines, I found it easier to do. My friends and I ALWAYS take pictures everywhere and it feels much easier when done there because most people do it. Especially when cellphones with cameras first came out, everyone was taking pics of anything and everything and no one showed any problem… (by the way, US is late when it comes to cellphones, I remember cellcameras came out in early 2000s– that’s MMS and text messaging, and US is only got the trend recently… LOL!)
Anyway, I read up about photography and it really depends where you take pictures… if it’s not allowed, you’ll be told so… so, just stop taking pictures, apologize for not knowing.. LOL.. I haven’t had the experience yet, but I think it won’t be some scary scene… They can’t ask you for the pictures, I believe only the police can do that. HAHA! BUT if you be a jerk and continue taking pics, the worst that can happen is to have your assisted outside by security, if not, have your ass thrown out of the store. LOL!
So, photographers usually have this advice: It’s better to get the picture and apologize after.
HAHAHA!! I know it takes a lot of courage to take pics in the store, but think of it as yourself being “touristy”– just can’t help but take pictures as memories and remembrance of being there. I guess I get away with it more because I am a foreigner. LOL!
You know what… start by taking pictures of your food in casual and friendly restaurants when you and James go to one. And take pics of each other… once you get used to doing this, you’ll start not minding other people and be more “carefree” when in other places.

I like perfume too.
But it’s so difficult for me to find anything I like! My mum has a couple by Chanel which I like, but a lot of perfumes are just… ick.
