What the…?
For as long as I can remember I’ve always used cry5tal for my screenames online. Well, yesterday I googled search cry5tal and found a couple of my old journals way back from 2003. They make me lol. It’s ridiculous how I used to talk; I cussed waay too much, was obsessed with boys, and my grammar was horrid! (Not that it’s perfect now, but still!)
Here’s a entry from one of them:

[ mood | weird ]lmao I am such a tard, I thought it was still yesterday so I was going to make fun of myself for posting twice in one day, but then I looked at the clock and noticed it’s a different day! Heh wouldn’t that of been funny?
I’m in a weird mood, see my new icon? It’s animated. Animated… heh that’s such a different word it reminds me of Animals that have mated.
Gosh…I was such an IDIOT! What the heck is wrong with posting twice in one day? That post didn’t even have a purpose…I was just showcasing how stupid I was.
And…another:
So I meet this guy and he’s not very cute and he’s a year younger then me but he’s really really cool and nice. I talked to him on the phone for about an hour yesterday, I think I talk his ear off. Plus hes a juggalo, and I am fucking tired of all the hot guy’s being the asshole’s.
A juggalo? HAHAHA! It’s really sickening how obsessed I used to be with Insane Clown Posse. And…nice punctuation teeny Crystal.
It’s a damn good thing I’ve grown up. I used to act so immature! I still have my weird sense of humor, but I’m no longer a dumbass. It’s funny, because now I’m twenty-three years old, and people always think I’m older because of the way I act and carry myself. But, when I wrote those posts I was seventeen and eighteen and you’d think I was some 13 year old!
This post doesn’t really have a point…I just find it funny how much I’ve changed.

HA HA! This is hilarious! I went on the internet archive and found my old entries - great stuff! I can’t believe how immature I was.
As for the ICP thing, I was there! I went through a whole “goth” phase and everything.

Eew on ICP! Haha but I have things like that too. I have deleted all of my old journals and destroyed the written ones because it’s embarrassing how I was. I too loved bad music, was OBSESSED with boys, and cussed soley to sound cool.

I have some of the worst diarys/livejournals from when I was younger. I started when I was about 13/14 so you can only imagine the important things that I used to blog about.

God, it’s so embaressing and funny at the same time to find old posts in journals like that… from when you were young. I found an old LJ of mine way back, but deleted it. My brother found this letter of mine in his bedroom this weekend… that I wrote to some boy when I was like 13, and was reading it out loud… oh geez. Hahaha, embaressing.

Aww, I feel embarrassed when I read old posts or journals. It’s great to look back though, you can tell how much you’ve changed and improved throughout that time. You’ve definitely changed.

“Juggalo”, lol. I re-visited my old online journals last week and the ones that survived kinda WOW-ed me. The old Helga was a bitch, acted like queen of the universe, self-centered, and confused. But when I read the comments and my friends’ journals and our conversations there, I was a happy college kid. I miss those days.
I should find my highschool ones, lol. The horror!
